God Is Faithful To Our Commitment

  Today I would like to speak on verse 5 through 7 of Psalm 37;  5) commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this:  6) He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.  7) Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.  Here, in a few short sentences, we have a guideline of how we ought to live life. Beloved, whatever dream you wish to see manifest, whatever secret desire stirs in your heart, we must first commit their path to the Lord. Committing something to the Lord simply means we relinquish our own power and fully surrender it to a higher power above all other powers, the Lord Jesus Christ.
