Spiritual Influence - Matthew 5:13–16   “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men” ( 5:13 ).  Introduction :  In the Beatitudes which we have just considered we have eight facets of the Christian character. Then the Master moves on to show that Christian character leads to Christian conduct. The Faithful In Christ Will Stand

Image
We will stand whether the sea is calm or has rising waves  For we weren’t planted in shifting sand but in God who saves.  And though we may bend  There is the perfect helper our Lord Jesus would send …  Two Corinthians four verse eight and nine,  "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed;  Perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned;  Struck down, but not destroyed.”  Is pretty encouraging news to me! And so for every living and breathing tree!  May it be for you as well,  Before our journey is complete, we should live with joy and tell,  Of God’s unending mercies and grace.   When storms crash our life shores and trouble occupies space,   He will direct us by light.  Sun for day and moon for night...  And if we ever feel as though we stand alone, Please remind us you take every step with us until we're home.  For you are man’s strong tower, And numbered the length of all...

In the pursuit of a meaningful and righteous life guided by faith, the importance of faithfulness cannot be overstated. The words of 1 Corinthians 4:2 echo a profound truth: "Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful." This scripture underlines the significance of faithfulness, emphasizing its role not only in our spiritual journey but also in shaping our character and integrity. In the realm of stewardship, the divine directive is clear: This biblical injunction underscores the fundamental importance of faithfulness in our actions and responsibilities.  In a world often enticed by shortcuts and compromises, the intrinsic value of an unblemished reputation is highlighted: Undoubtedly, A reputation for honesty is worth far more than any fleeting monetary  gains obtained by compromise. This wisdom invites us to reflect on the enduring worth of integrity over momentaneous material gains. It serves as a reminder that our character is a beacon that distingu...
