Don't be scared of their appearances

God is with you to deliver you.

" And they shall fight against you; but they shall not prevail against you; for I am with you, said the LORD, to deliver you." Jeremiah 1:19.  Face each day with the assurance that God will be with you and see you through. The problems we face may not seem as ominous as that of Jeremiah, but they are critical to us and may overwhelm us! God's promise to us is that nothing will defeat us completely;  God will help us through the most agonizing problems.  By CovenantMedia

God is the restorer of our soul

Image
" He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." Psalm 23:2-3.  Submit your ways to the leading of Christ and you will always find rest and joy to your soul. He will restore, revive and strengthen you all the time.  When we allow God to be our shepherd, to guide us, we have commitment.  Our shepherd knows the "green meadows" and "peaceful streams" that will restore us. We can reach reach these places by following him obediently.  Our rebellion against the shepherd's leading is actually rebelling against our own best interests. We must remember this the next time we are tempted to go our own way rather than God's way.  By CovenantMedia

All we need is God's will in our lives.

"And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as you will." Matthew 26:39. What does it take to be able to say "Father let your will be done"? It takes firm trust in God's plans; it takes prayer and obedience each step of the way.  In times of suffering people wish they knew the future, or they wish they could understand the reason for their anguish.  Asking God to let his will be done in our lives neans we have absolute trust in his all sufficiency and that we surrender or commit everything in his hands. Jesus was not rebelling against his Father's will when he asked that the cup of suffering and separation be taken away. In facts, he reaffirmed his desire to do God's will by saying, "Yet I want your will to be done, not mine." His prayer reveals to us his terrible suffering. His agony was worse than death because he paid for a...

A good decision today will determine your tomorrow.

" There is a way which seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 14:12  The right choices often requires hard work and self sacrifice. Don't be enticed by apparent shortcuts that seem right but end in death.  The "path that seems right" may offer many options and require few sacrifices.  Easy choices, however, should make us take a second look. Is the solution attractive because it allows us to be lazy? Is it because it doesn't ask us to change our our lifestyle? Or because it doesn't require moral restraints? Remember not all that glitters are gold  Prov 16:25: "There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."  By CovenantMedia

Salvation to the world through Jesus Christ.

Image
" And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house." Acts 16:31  When we recognize Jesus as Lord and trust in Him with our entire life, salvation is assured to us. If you have never trusted in Jesus to save you, do so quickly.  Your life can be filled with joy, just as the jailer's was.  Pray that God will use you as a vessel to introduce Jesus to your family and that they will come to believe in him. Our families needs to come to Jesus in faith and believe in him as their only Lord and savior of mankind.  By CovenantMedia

Is there anything too hard for God?

We serve a God of all possibilities, whatever our God cannot do, does not exist. I don't know what you are going through, but be rest assured that " The Lord will fight for you and you will hold your peace." Just leave everything in his care and you will be happy you did.  By CovenantMedia

It's your breakthrough, don't waste it.

Genesis 32:26: "And he said, Let me go, for the day breaks. And he said, I will not let you go, except you bless me."    Like Jacob, always hold on to the opportunity till something good come out of it. There is a testimony after every test. Never underestimate any privilege that comes your way. For big thing cames in small packages. Make good use of every situation that you may find yourself in. Be it good or bad, positive or negative. There is always grace in every disgrace.  By CovenantMedia
