Our "Race" in life

"Know you not that they which run in a race run all, but one receives the prize? So run, that you may obtain."
1st Corinthians 9:24-27

Our Christian race here on this earth is not a quick sprint! It's a long race (marathon)!
We might travel a short distance before stopping. We could then renew our spirits and continue. But in our race, we must pay close attention to the set course!
Our Savior has already paved this way, so there shouldn't be any detours.
Since we don't want to fall, we should concentrate on the immediate future and search for "signs" that will direct us in the right direction.
We've got a "spiritual map" That, in my opinion, is both the Bible and the Holy Spirit's "direction."
We will see brightness for many miles, but there will also be times of darkness and storms. We definitely need the Lord's assistance to get through.
We must constantly turn to our "Resources" thus prayer, the Holy Spirit, and God's word.
• We might require a "Shelter" to flee to while these storms around us. That might be a church or another believer's home.
• We need each other's support as we move forward.
• Additionally, we require the "Bread of Life" to keep us going.
• The "Fountain of life" might be necessary for us to heal our worn-out souls.
• To avoid falling, we must pay close attention to our steps.
• Distractions might take us in the wrong direction.
• We might spiritually "slip" abruptly. • Our "Weak spot" is typically the focus of the attacker.
We must keep nourishing ourselves with God's word! After that, we'll be resilient and not get lost on the road.
To stay on the straight path, we must pay attention to the "signs" on our race. If we trip and fall, the Savior will catch us and mend any possible injuries.
We must be cautious of sudden turns or dark moments. Once more, the Savior is ever-present to aid and direct us on our journey because He is aware of our needs.
• He follows us to give us support.
• He guides us and points out the route.
• When we are weak, he walks behind us and softly shoves us onward.
He moves above us to keep us safe.
Keep your eyes and ears open as you travel through life on earth. We must keep an eye out for any roadblocks or unseen perils that could damage us.
The enemy is aware of our frailties and would love to use them, but our Savior knows us better than we know ourselves and is able to guide us away from peril.
We will win the "Prize"— eternal life and all of its benefits at the conclusion of the race of life if we do not quit. We will be filled with an unfathomable bliss.
