Jehovah Shalom: The Lord Our Peace

"And the LORD said to him, Peace be to you; fear not: you shall not die.  Then Gideon built an altar there to the LORD, and called it Jehovahshalom: to this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites."  Judges 6:23-24  In the midst of life's tumultuous storms, we often find ourselves yearning for a sense of tranquility, a peace that surpasses all understanding.
