“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” — Romans 12:2 (KJV)   Many Christians pray sincerely for change, breakthrough, spiritual growth, success, self-control, a better marriage, victory over temptation, and a closer walk with God. Yet sometimes, after praying repeatedly, nothing seems to change.  Why?  One important answer is discipline .  D iscipline does not replace prayer; discipline helps us live out what we pray for .  Prayer is essential to the Christian life, but prayer must be followed by obedience, action, consistency, and self-control. You can pray for a stronger spiritual life, but you must also make time to study the Bible. You can pray to overcome temptation, but you must also learn to avoid situations that repeatedly lead you into temptation. Justification Through our Salvation

The inner change, that happens when you are born again is justification, Justification is effected at the moment of salvation. Sanctification is the outward change in the believer's daily walk, Sanctification continues throughout your entire life. But the progressive work of sanctification is only fully effective when the radical, inner transformation of justification is known, revealed or realized and appropriated by faith. You can never have a walk of sanctification without Justification first. There was a sheep on a farm giving birth and in doing so, the mother died so there was an orphan lamb. They tried to put another mother sheep with orphan, but it didn’t work. She sniffed it, knew it wasn’t hers and butted it away. Then the reverse happened. In giving birth, the mother’s lamb died.
