  "And Abram said, LORD God, what will you give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?  And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?"  Genesis 15:2 & 8  In the sacred pages of the Bible, we find profound verses that illuminate the sovereignty of Adonai, our Lord. Two passages, Genesis 15:2 & 8 and Acts 2:23, echo the timeless truth of God's authority over all creation.  Genesis 15:2 (NIV):  "But Abram said, 'Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?'"
