The Faithful In Christ Will Stand

We will stand whether the sea is calm or has rising waves

For we weren’t planted in shifting sand but in God who saves.

And though we may bend

There is the perfect helper our Lord Jesus would send …

Two Corinthians four verse eight and nine,

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed;

Perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned;

Struck down, but not destroyed.”

Is pretty encouraging news to me!

And so for every living and breathing tree!

May it be for you as well,

Before our journey is complete, we should live with joy and tell,

Of God’s unending mercies and grace.

When storms crash our life shores and trouble occupies space,

He will direct us by light.

Sun for day and moon for night...

And if we ever feel as though we stand alone,

Please remind us you take every step with us until we're home.

For you are man’s strong tower,

And numbered the length of all his days and remaining hours ...

Now that we are rooted in Christ we have no need to fear,

Because faithful is faithful God and when we call he draws near.
