Today, I would like to call this post “audacious faith” and the reason why. There are many I know on social media who have been waiting on the promises of God for years and years and some as much as decades as I have and others as well. We aren’t the first believers to have waited as we see in Genesis 18.
Beloved, how often do we snicker behind closed doors along with our faith at what God has promised us? Sarah laughed and honestly I’ve chuckled to myself too in seasons when the time and years are just so inconceivable and my faith was being challenged until “audacity” kicked in. Our faith must never be apologetic rather, it must remain strong and yes, even offensive to some but who cares? Man cannot deliver what only God can deliver.
So, here is a thought to consider. If we should look at a scale and what shifts the scale it is either more weight or less as the numbers adjust. Now, should we recall what Jesus said in Matthew 17, verse 20 … “Because of your lack of faith,” Jesus replied. “I’m telling you the truth: if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
“Nothing will be impossible for you and me…” and that is based on our faith as small as a mustard seed but let’s not disregard the immeasurable copious amounts of God’s faithfulness, goodness and power. You see, Jesus referred to our faith at the smallest portion and how that could work supernaturally in our favor.
Sometimes, we have selective hearing and hear what we want to hear and pretend to be deaf concerning other things. However, if God truly spoke it to you where you know that you know, awaken your faith to remain audacious and never back down regardless of what others may say or think. God will not be mocked and he needs to offer no explanation to man.
I would like us to re-examine what we know the Lord has spoken to us and bring it to the alter of fire again. May every doubt in our heart turn to ashes regardless of the years in waiting. Also, let us always examine our walk with Jesus and see If there is anything hindering the blessings of God to flow in our lives. He is faithful to show us where we have faltered and knowledgeable and full of wisdom to bring to pass all that he has promised.
