Psalm 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

Who and what are these babe and infants that silence the enemy and avenger?

Babes and infants represent utter weakness; it does not look like very much strength or power; quite insignificant in terms of power, ability or strength against any forces.

God ordained and decreed to bring to pass the silencing of the enemy and the avenger by utter weakness.

Strength  - is a stronghold; strength of fortress, tower of strength, a refuge, you are in so they can’t get you, but a refuge from which you can get them. It is like the castles in Europe when you go in and then when they close the gates, you can't get in.  God becomes your stronghold.

Out of the mouth of these insignificant persons you have brought to perfection the making of a tower of strength; the producing of a stronghold resulting is you may silence the enemy.

In the Hebrew it means to hurl he enemy back and shut him up with nothing left to say

What comes out of them the babes and infants, what comes out that creates a stronghold that the enemy is hurled back and shut up. Jesus quotes this verse He says it different though

Matt.21:16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? The children were saying Hosanna. He is saying to the leaders yes, I hear them; it is praise that the babes and infants are building the stronghold that causes the enemies of God to be hurled  down and shut up; praise that comes out of the weakest person.

Praise builds audible fortress; also shuts up and hurls down the enemy. As you praise the Lord, God becomes a stronghold, encapsulating you that what opposes His will and what opposes you will be hurled down.

Praise God and the side effect builds a stronghold that shuts up and hurls down all the opposing forces.

As you praise the Lord for who He is as God, as a covenant God, the I AM in your life, praise Him for who He is and who He is to you the more your faith increases. You are exalting Him and speaking His marvelous Name and who He has made Himself to be in your life; the residue of the world, the attacks upon your mind, and directly from the enemy begin to come down in His Name and presence.

The temple is made for praise and worship. That is what you are a temple. You are made for praise and worship. He doesn’t need it, for He is complete in Himself, but He is the creator and we are the creatures and it centers your life, it brings into your life, LIFE.

In church it should be to lift your hearts to the Lord not focus upon the enemies. The  Good News is the devil is bound 2000 years ago. Get absorbed in the glory of God. Begin to praise His name and allow the stronghold of God in you be built and see how the glory of God fills your temple and let the glory fill His church which you are.
